If you had gone to the arcades frequently in the early 90’s, then you would remember WWF Wrestlefest. It was a fun arcade brawler comprised of your favorite wrestling superstars such as Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, and the Immortal Hulk Hogan to name a few. THQ plans to revive this classic brawler and add in popular wrestlers of our time like Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton and many more! The game will feature renowned arenas including Raw, Smackdown, Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, and Saturday Night’s Main Event. Fans of the memorable 1990’s Arcades will be pleased to know that the new version will include Road to Wrestlemania, which will allow players to compete in a series of challenges to win five different WWE championships. Players will also take on opponents in a variety of the classic match types, ranging from Gauntlet to Steel Cage bouts, in either single-player or tag team fashion. THQ is putting emphasis on multiplayer madness to give players opportunity to compete against anyone in the world! The game is slated to be release in sometime in 2013.
