Sony is entering the basketball arena with its own trend of NBA ‘07. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment America’s San Diego Studio, NBA ’07 hits the hardwood floor exclusively for the Playstation 3, showcasing detailed and lifelike graphics supported in true High Definition at 1080p. Taking advantage of the console’s advanced processing power, NBA ’07 promises to deliver a true next-generation experience with advanced artificial intelligence (AI), realistic character movements, online functionality, and interaction with the new motion sensor controller. With the motion sensor controller, players can take advantage of various jukes, crossovers, and spin moves as well as low-post moves.
Sony has included a number of mini-games into their NBA ‘07 this season, which consists of 3-Point Shootout, Playstation Skills Challenge and Own the Court to name a few. There is also an NBA Replay Mode where players can attempt to re-enact the great performances from the ’05-’06 season and work through the entire past season’s worth of memorable gameplay scenarios. Not to mention players can download five scenarios each week involving real NBA games from the ’06-’07 season and attempt to replay those magical moments. Never before has an NBA video game and the current NBA season been more relevant to one another. With its array of stunning visuals and new gameplay features, NBA ’07 may just be the most realistic and engaging NBA experience available.
